Dear folks!! Let us redirect our focus to some upcycling work.

Upcycling basically refers to the process of converting not so useful materials into new products of better quality or usage. The first recorded use of the term ‘upcycling‘ was made in 1994. The primary goal of upcycling is to prevent wasting potentially useful materials by making use of the existing ones. This not only reduces the consumption of new raw materials for creating new products, but also proves to be beneficial in preventing environmental pollution and even greenhouse gas emission. Upcycling has seen an in crease in its use due to its current marketability and lowered cost of reused materials.

Talking about upcycling in our field of art, it is the process of taking used or recycled materials and turning them into creative pieces of art, decor or other useful items. Our crafts-work with newspaper also falls under the umbrella of upcycling.
