Wrapped with Love!!
I just love weddings ❤ ❤ ❤
Hi folks and welcome to The Craft House.
Weddings are just so beautiful. There is so much fun and merrymaking going around, the feel of festivities bigger than any festival, the gathering of people whom you might be meeting only weddings to weddings and the whole lot of craftsy work you get to do 😀
I recently attended one such wedding…well actually an engagement ceremony and of all the stationery and packaging work I did, sharing here these money envelopes… Have a look!
Winters and Weddings…somewhat go hand in hand!!
So here’s a winter wedding that I was working on, especially on the wedding stationery. The theme was traditional and royal in hues of red, yellow and orange, I tried to add some cream too!!
Be it a wedding of any ethnicity, when it comes to stuff, there are hell lot of nick knacks to be taken care of; for example, ceremonial invites (apart from Wedding Invitation), name cards for seating arrangements, guest book, favors and the list goes on and on.
However, here I am showcasing the Gift Envelopes…the primary element of wedding stationery. Have designed them in two styles – one is Warli Painting and the other is with Zari and Golden work. Let’s have a look…
Do you remember when we were kids, as in, in 1990s? There used to be a kids’ show telecast on our Indian National TV Channel named ‘Potli Baba Ki’! This show was telecast only during summer holidays and contained lot many small stories, poems and puppet shows with some morals and lessons in them.
Inspired from that, here I have come up with this ‘Potli’ of mine that does not contain lessons but surely can contain your love and carry it all the way to whoever you gift it.
Along with love it can also be used to carry gift items like small religious idols, small jewelries like pendants, ear-rings, anklets, bracelets, or something like chocolates, candies, etc.
